Brain Upgrade Trainers Academy was founded on 18th September 2018 with 21 pupils under the name Brain Booster Academy. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the school relocated to a new environment to better serve its learners.

By 2022, the Academy expanded to include registration for WAEC and NECO examinations, and has since continued to introduce entrepreneurship programmes that prepare pupils and students with practical skills for life and future careers.
